Is it legal to show a Christian ministry video to the public?

If I pay for the DVD, do I need to contact the ministry first, to ask for permission?

    I believe if you charge money for it, then it would be illegal. I would still check to be sure, though. I know churches show videos to the public all the time, but they don’t charge anything.

    It’s just like any other DVD. remember the message at the start that says that "This video is licensed for in home use only, not for public presentation" or words to that effect. if you show it on your own, you’re asking lots of troubles from lawyers unless you get written permission first.
