-64-bit support** allows you to load many more instruments and voices, limited only by your system
RAM (32-bit support is included also)
-While most high-end computers will support 16Gb (8 times as much memory is now usable), a very small
set of high-performance enterprise computers (with Microsoft Vista Ultimate) can already use 128Gb of
RAM. As hardware develops, the theoretical limit is 17,179,869,184 gigabytes = 16 exabytes, or 17
billion gigabytes!

-If you still need more power, our built-in NETWORK CONTROL allows you to load instruments on other
machines controlled from your host computer
-No more trips back and forth between computers, no more KVM switching when loading projects

-The PLAY system is a professional fully integrated solution for those with the most demanding
production requirements

@ …
@floridamusiccompany If I wanted to use this as a plugin for a program like FL Studio, would it work? I’ve been dying to find a realistic guitar to use on that program. All the ones on the internet sound so fake.

I don’t think you …
I don’t think you quite got the point of what a VTS is. Unlike Guitar Pro, a VST is not itself a sequencer, it is just a “virtual instrument” that plugs into a proper sequencer, like Pro Tools, Logic, Sonar, or even Garage Band. Combining these two things gives you the ability to compose using these sounds.
As to the utility of VSTs, you’d be surprised how much music you hear today uses VSTs extensively. Particularly TV and video game soundtracks, as well as film trailers.

@sonofhendrix , wow …
@sonofhendrix , wow, you compare vst’s with a program like Guitar Pro, which has nothing to do one with the other…..Guitar Pro is a program, a vst is a sound source. It’s like comparing a guitar amp with a guitar case….

ill take the bait ! …
ill take the bait !.
YOUR SO WRONG.
do some research and you will find that most music these days will have used some vst instrument’s within the song.
recent ones come to mind are whitney houston’s “I look to you” used Superior Drummer® 2.0/seal’s soul album was mainly produced with vst instrument’s.

But how can this …
But how can this actually work in compositions???? Still cheap old guitar pro 5 all over this for composition simplicity and creativity…
These VSTs are only good for messing around with sounds,, not actually creating a piece of music. IMO,, tell me if im wrong.

They’re aren’t …
They’re aren’t synthesized AT ALL, any of the samples.
Everything is chromatically sampled, nothing is synthed.
June 25th, 2010 at 8:00 am
This kind of VST …
This kind of VST makes me feel obsolete, playing a real guitar.
June 25th, 2010 at 8:00 am
it’s just a bunch …
it’s just a bunch of chords arpeggiated to show of the sound.

June 25th, 2010 at 8:00 am
These aren’t …
These aren’t totally all synthesized. all the sounds are recorded in studios using real instruments. This explains East West’s exceptional replication and HUGE file size. Plus youtube is also responsible for sound quality loss.
June 25th, 2010 at 8:00 am
The bass and guitar …
The bass and guitar don’t sound completely realistic, but I believe it’s the closest anyone has gotten via VST. Great job. The drums sound phenomenal.
