I would like to start a prison or jail ministry in texas how would i go about doing this? Also i have ben in prison my self in texas would that have a hindrence on me?

From my observations, I have listed some obstacles and procedures that may be helpful in starting a Jail Ministry. There are several other obstacles to overcome you should be aware of.

1. Some jails may not allow religious volunteers at this time.
2. The jail may be small in numbers and the present chaplain feels he is adequate.
3. There may be a maximum number of religious volunteers, and at present, they are full.
4. Jail requirements do not allow those with criminal records of any kind to participate. This may eliminate you from participating. (see link)

My employment visa is from ABU DHABI . Can I do attestation of my employment contract from Ministry of foreign affairs ( SHARJAH ) instead of ABUDHABI , before attesting it in Indian consulate ? I need this contract to send to india. I have already stamped this document from Chamber of commerce ( ABU DHABI) please advice?

I volunteer with the youth ministry at my church. It’s a group of young adults helping high school teens with many things. Recently we’ve had a lot of differences, but we came together and talked about those problems. I believe we just need some type of bonding, like doing an activity such as hiking. I was thinking hiking, but I wanted to seek the ideas of others. Thank you. BTW were located a little bit out of Los Angeles so if you from the area, please give me a place of somewhere we can go.

What the kids need is education in math, science, logic, sex etc….
What they absolutely don’t need is being brainwashed by a group of people suffering from schizoid delusional mental disorder, unable to make the difference between bronze age middle eastern goat herders fairy tales and reality.

If you are serious about helping , take the kids to the science museum and organize workshops where they can learn to observe, infer, experiment.
