Wow. Incredible use and application of Keith Green’s interpretation of the Prodigal Son Suite. Keith’s song has a unique key persepctive which you have capitalized on in this video…. The father kneels before the son before blessing him…..That act of humilty embodies the spirit of Jesus washing the disciples feet. Going to use this in our church for our series on the Prodigal Son. Please pray for me, I am the Prodigal Son thinking of home. I know My Father waits in hope and faith, ever willing to embrace me but I am to ashamed to confess my sins (they are many and terrible). I have not had a very easy time confessing my sins to fellow Christians (in the name of “praying for me” they made my sins public and shamed me). I know Reconciliation is a Sacrament but even in the confessional I have met with rejection. Please pray for me for I long to be new and clean again. alex

Bauman…Seems like it was two years ago whej I gave you accolades for this music video…this seems even better!!! I grew up in the Church and it was until ‘81 and attending Calvary Chapel-Chattanooga that God used Kieth Green to kick me between the eyes to come understand the prodigal son!

I remember this …
I remember this song so well from when I first got saved. Keith Green’s story is tragic, yet look at the legacy he left behind. But to see this song portrayed in this manner brought tears to my eyes, It is a fitting tribute to a great man of God and musician who had a bold testimony to the Grace of God..
My favourite Keith Green song is “Asleep in the Light”, and a YTuser named Jackbigbox has done an excellent portrayal of that song.

8 years ago, I met my Father. Every time I heard this beatiful son of Keith, I start crying, wondering why God is loving me so much. He is so fantastic, He loves me and you with a never ending love.
