Ministry

I study the bible primarily on my own but I’m looking for more fellowship and involvement during the week. Right now I only attend church functions on Sunday,Saturday, and Wendsday. I’d love to find stuff on Fridays and Thursdays. Any suggestions how I can go about looking for these ministires? I live in Galveston county, Texas.

I am a member of a church in Florida that is a strong advocate for missions and serving, however the vast majority of service opportunities are either in our local city, or in other countries. I am just wondering if anyone out there is a part of/knows about any good Christian ministries that intentionally serve people throughout the US.
I’m most interested in some kind of organization that coordinates trips or outreaches across the whole country. Habitat for Humanity is one example, but I’m interested in discovering more like this.

Frankly, I visited one of the websites and couldn’t make sense of it. (It spent most of the verbiage explaining why they were able to determine the exact day and hour despite the fact that the Bible said nobody knows.)

And its from a sad old man who desperately wants to be raptures before he dies. Sadly he has convinced a few venerable nutters that its the truth. Despite being against what Jesus says.

Ministries are government departments, but not every government department is a ministry. Ministries are departments that are headed by a minister in the Government.

I figure this would be easier for a smaller church. Do you think it would be more difficult for a large church facility?

God’s true Church will uphold the Moral Law(Ten Commandments)

God’s true Church will Baptize by Immersion not Sprinkling.

God’s true Church will not eat Unclean Foods(Pork, Catfish, etc.)

God’s true Church will be a Worldwide Church preaching the message of Christ.

God’s true Church will teach Biblical literal six day Creation. NO Evolution.

God’s true Church will have the gift of Prophecy.

God’s true Church will preach Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

God’s true Church will stand against Sexual Immorality. Homosexuality, Adultery and Fornication are Sins.

God’s true Church will preach against Strong drink. Alcohol is not allowed. (Proverbs 20:1).

Remember God’s true last day Church will not be a popular Church. Most people will attack God’s Biblical Church with vigilance. Satan himself will attack God’s Church(Revelation 14:12) Truth crushed to the ground will always rise to the top.

I already receive letters from Joyce Meyers, billy Graham, Marilyn n Sarah, Breakthrough and a few others. It really helps me walk the Christian walk when I receive these letters. I would like to recieve more from ministries that send home mailings every month. Not the e-mail mailings though.

I happen to see the sessions /meetings of various ministries on television very often. The ministers often speak well. They appear to do miracles… people fainting by a mere touch of the pastor/minister. I see people weeping..mostly with joy, prayers are in simple language and appeal to every kind of person.

Are there any people out there who have benefited instatly by attending these sessions… i.e. change in personal habits, prayers really translating into miracles, people getting jobs or deserved promotions , getting desired life partners…. general sense of well being ??

The people that benefit the most form these shows are the organizers. It’s a true show, with plants in the audience and slight of hand etc. Think of all the ones that have been busted and sent to prison. They are really evil because their prime target is older people with infirmities and fixed incomes. People that steal from and swindle the elderly, are worse than child abusers. When you take an old person’s savings and income, you kill them!!! An abused child will recover and live more or less normally. The elderly don’t recover. No one protects them either.

If a preacher needs to have a huge studio and a big production company, you can bet he’s up to no good. If he spent that money on the poor and homeless, he’d be doing good, but that isn’t where the money goes.

I am looking for the sheet music to the song psalm 27 by shekinah glory ministries, ive tried many websites, does anyone know anywhere i can find it?

I couldn’t find it anywhere on the net. You might have to visit a local music store and see if they can order it for you.

I want to help! I feel lead to look for Christian minstries that reach People in Afganistan exspecially girls and women? Does anyone know any ministries or any information to help me get connected?
