    @WiseMonkey888 Oh.. …
    @WiseMonkey888 Oh… with regards to your search into Buddhism… it will yield very little. Although, I suppose it fascinates some…lol. Kind regards,

    I have had much …
    I have had much more determined and demented proverbial missionaries. I dont view this as an exercise of potential conversion… more of a friendly and mutually beneficial exchange of ideas :) . Come to think of it.. only the other week a couple of ‘JW’s’ popped along to my front door… man did they get it! Kind and warm regards to you and Debbie! Have a lovely day!

    “The God Theory” by …
    “The God Theory” by Bernard Haisch? Ok… for sure. Although, I have quite a heavy reading list already… especially this month! Please to give the thing a read over the next few months. If I were you, I would not worry about the pressure of being converted by your passion for this newfound world perspective. I can honestly assure you,

    @WiseMonkey888 …
    @WiseMonkey888 currently and sporadically looking into more buddhist and hindu thought – not to convert but to get another interesting perspective.I like Eckhart Tolle stuff. Have you checked out “The God Theory” by Bernard Haisch Phd ?

  5. ThirdProverb Says:

    @cjunk351 obvious …
    @cjunk351 obvious to you and myself. Unfortunately this scripture IS used in many denominations and individuals for not only the NT but the whole bible. thanks for stopping by.

  6. cjunk351 Says:

    Obviously the …
    Obviously the writer of revelations was talking about his one book.

  7. WiseMonkey888 Says:

    @ThirdProverb Sure. …
    @ThirdProverb Sure… I understand. However, the real question is this: How much of your view of God is based or formulated by 20′ish years of Christian theology and thought? Actually, I was just wondering… have you investigated any of the other worlds religious ideologies… etc? Please, have a cool day man! Oh… this video of your is very clever! Hurrah! Kind, warm and sincere regards to you and Debbie.

  8. ThirdProverb Says:

    @WiseMonkey888 well …
    @WiseMonkey888 well WM you know that I still believe in a God as a Deist. the question is really to christians and if they see what I am seeing.

    so to continue.. …
    so to continue.. commentary can be helpful, an example of something that I think does add to it.. as I randomly flip open this Lutheran NRSV Study bible.. ‘the note on Jeremiah 22:10-12: The Poem might have been originally about the people who were exiled in 597 and 587 B.C.E., but here the poem is more specific..’ and so on – so I don’t think it’s adding or taking away as your Timothy verse suggests and reading the bible next to Joyce Meyer would creep me out.. she’s scary but quite rich.. :-)

  10. CronusPrime Says:

    yea well Haiti …
    yea well Haiti could probably use things like food and clean water and money to buy those things much more. As to the commentary each is trying to get their own spin in between the text however there are some good bibles with commentary. I have a couple of them. My Catholic Study Bible has historical, linguistic and other notations that are helpful even if an atheist was using it for
    research. My Lutheran Study bible has much the same but not as in depth. Still send Haiti food, money etc

    Adding? adding? Hmm …
    Adding? adding? Hmm… you make the increadabvle assumption that ‘God’ actually exists and left a proverbial note attached to the refrigerator… you may very well still have some of those old religious gremlins in your brain box 3rd. Perhaps it is time to air the attic… so to speak… and the cellar come to think of it! Kind and warm regards to you and Debbie!

  12. cflockking Says:

    Yes they are adding …
    Yes they are adding to the word of God. It is their interpretation of the word which is the traditions of man. We are to let the indwelling Holy Sprit who is the true Word lead us. I myself think to many Christians worship and rely on the Bible instead of relying on the Spirit of God.

  13. wayman29 Says:

    The Cotton Patch …
    The Cotton Patch Version is an interesting text also. LOL Todd Bentley!!! Hey could you get me on of those…!!! I would love to get on just to have it.

  14. ThirdProverb Says:

    @hetgow – how …
    @hetgow – how about the others who put out their own bible ? does a favorite ministry of yours put out their own bibles ? do you think it is adding to the bible ?

  15. hetgow Says:

    Fresh Fire bible? …
    Fresh Fire bible? gee thats an oxymoron if there ever was one. No better way to spread false teaching that putting in a bible. Sounds like the enemy is getting serious about advancing heresy during these last days. We MUST test everything, ppl, spirits, teachings, prophesies, etc against the sound doctrine of God’s word.

    Thanks for posting.
