I don’t recall Jesus having a band of musicians with him to spread the good news of God’s kingdom… doesn’t having live music at a worship service turn it into entertainment (2 Tim. 4:3) rather than a healthy, sincere attempt at spiritual training? Or does learning what the Bible really teaches even matter to you when you go to church, just so long as you can get your Starbucks and bagels while tapping your foot to "My God is an Awesome God"?
I don’t dispute the use of music in the Bible to worship God. What I would like is a comparison to the use of music in the temple by the Levites, Jesus’ use of music in his ministry and music as it is used in most worship services today. Please research the "music" found when Moses came down from the mountain in Exodus 32, particularly the last sentence in verse 18.

The purpose of the Music Ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage
believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship.

The Music Ministry spreads the Word of God through music experiences.
