In conjunction with Christian ministry are several questions that are a must to consider..?

What is a spiritual journey?
What is a spiritual calling?
What does spiritual formation life plan mean?
What does a current field ministry context mean?
What does implications of ministry in life mean?

thanks.

I dont think you can have answers to all your questions now. God will tell you and show what you need to do. maybe not talking straight to you but there are signs he puts down here on earth for us to follow. the only thing we have to do is believe.

a Spiritual journey is your daily walk with God. Reading the Bible Going to Church and PRAYER. all go along in this.
a Spiritual Calling is what you think God has told you to do. mission work or volunteering in your own town.
to answer the next two questions I will not be helpful because I’m told you keep God in your life everyday not only when you are struggling. and the next one i have no idea what that means.
to imply your religion to your life simply means show the good character and act like what u think a Christian would do. no you don’t have to be a saint. but don’t think oh ill be forgiven it doesn’t matter what i do.

Can I get back into ministry and religion again even though i’m now heaviely tattooed?

November 28, 2009 - 5:36 am 14 Comments

When I was a tenager after I made my conformation in the catholic church I got into ministry.(music, retreats, testimonies, praise and worship, ect.) Now into my mid 20’s I am heaviley tattooed(covered neck and arms)
My tattos aren’t vulgur, maybe a little on the dark side, alot of skulls.
I would love to get back into ministry again but have never seen anyone with this many tattoos at retreats before. Is it possible to be acsepted by the church again? Are should I maybe minister towards halfway houses, prisons, rehabs, ect.?

I have tatoo’s.. They have allowed me to go places where a suit and tie pastor would be tossed out on his ear….

I think people tend to relate with others who look like them…

I think it would depend on the age of the congragation too… Some of the old elders, or charter members might frown…. Mine have no problem with my tatoo’s… they are actually rather curious about them…

I also got mine before my conversion to Christ, but I do have a very close friend that owns a tat shop who is working on a new piece for me.. Honestly I dont think Christ is worried about your skin, I think it’s the heart that truly matters…

God bless!

does anybody wish wwe undertaker should start another ministry?

November 28, 2009 - 5:36 am 2 Comments

i’m talking about the ministry of darkness that the undertaker had in 1999 and 1998. with apa/big show/big daddy v/gangrel. do you think he should start a new one.

yeah i think that would be great
something interesting on smackdown to watch
and that would surely make the ratings higher than they are now.
that would be a great move on wwes part IMO

What national value did preachers of the Second Great Awankening draw on to revive their ministries?

November 28, 2009 - 5:36 am 1 Comment

My social studies teacher asked my class to try and find answers to our homework by instead of using our books but the internet most people in my class decided to use a search engine but instead i decided to try this out i will have many other questions dealing with this particular time era so please if you are acceptional in history help me out Please and Thank you have a good day goodbye

The Second Great Awakening took place during the 1820s-1840s, a time period of great American nationalism following our tie with England in the War of 1812. There was a great desire among Americans an even greater nation than it ever had been and the preachers of this time period drew on America’s national pride and desire to reform the evils and ills of society to generate interest in their message. For that reason several great reform movements were carried out through the churches of that time period such as:

1. Temperance (anti-alcohol)
2. Anti-child labor
3. Anti-prostitution
4. Insane assylum and prison reforms
5. Women’s rights
6. Abolitionism (anti-slavery)
7. Education reform

And there you have it from a real historian.

Radio Ministry?

November 25, 2009 - 9:39 pm 3 Comments

One Sunday morning an old couple was sitting in their rocking chairs, out on their front porch, listening to their favorite radio preacher.

"My friends", the preacher said, "if you have an affliction, if you have an infirmity, and you wish to be healed, just send your $10 faith offering to our ministry, in care of this radio station, and next week during our broadcast I will HEAL YOU!!"

The old man sent in his $10 and waited…

The following Sunday the preacher announced "if you have sent your faith offering, at this time I want you to place your left hand on your radio and your right hand on the afflicted part of your body and I will HEAL YOU!!"

The old man set his left hand on the radio and placed his right hand on his crotch.

The old woman looked over from her knitting …."Pa", she told him, "the man said he could heal the sick….He never said nothin’ about raising the dead"….

hey, good one.

any ideas for a prayer path?

November 25, 2009 - 9:38 pm 2 Comments

I have recently started a group at my church called Liturgical Dance. We use dance as a form of prayer in the church, and it is also a time of ministry, discipling, and supporting each other in faith. We have been meeting for about a month, and we are going to have our first overnight retreat coming up. I want the girls in the group to feel more comftorable around eachother, and the group to feel more united after the retreat. I am going to plan a prayer path for one of our activites, where we will go to each of the girl’s bedrooms with a partner and spend time praying and reflecting on different verses and topics. Does anyone have any ideas about verses, prayers…so on?
because of someone’s answer I reall want to say that this is an ALL GIRLS group :]

this site has unusual, additional, studies of the kjv
