Hello,
We are redecorating our youth sanctuary, we are wondering what kind of color of carpet, or what kind of carpet would really stick out to youth? I personally do not want to get carpet because all the mud from the youth shoes are going to get into it.
If you are an interior designer, who has worked with this stuff, please let me know. I want someone who had dealt with these kind of issues.
I personally was thinking of getting just a neauteral kind of carpet, instead of getting something really out there like polka dot…what do you suggest?
First-there’s good news and not-so-good news! Although, there are many choices, there are limited options to encompass all your needs! We all know how very rambunctious kids can be ( Church Youth or otherwise)! so the solution is to find a happy medium. Here are your guideline parameters:durability, function, cost and lastly creative design.Take a design that coordinates with your overall scheme, head to a flooring provider and divulge your needs and budget.. you should try something in the indoor/ outdoor market or something similar to a ‘romper room ‘ carpet.. you can find ( depending on the s/f you’ll need-) there are different grades to consider, although it may not be your first choice, if its not in the main sanctuary, I suggest trying a second hand flooring/carpet provider such as a remant dealer..they also may have off market selections not privy to the general public! Its durable, kid friendly ( though not to toddlers knees ) and can last for years.. try to find one with a variable color scheme, as solids tend to wear down in high traffic areas, such as the front door -vestibule area! Cleaning care is minimal on this type of carpet too, so that is another factor to consider..In review: it wears well, it’s affordable, durable and longevity are all available for this type of floor covering!
Good luck in your endeavors- and may God Bless your Good stewardship.
Happy decorating!

I received a prayer cloth in the mail. A letter instructs me to write my prayer on a form and mail the prayer cloth, and the form, back to the ministry.
Do you think they reuse the prayer cloth to cut down on expenses?
I haven’t heard of prayer cloths being scriptural, so they can do whatever they need to do with them. Did they ask you for a donation too?

It’s been organised by Times Square Church (David Wilkerson’s church) and over 320 churches, 65 youth groups and 110 college ministries are coming together in New York to pray as one. Would *LOVE* to have been there… wow. But so is anyone going? If there are Christians in your contacts, please will you let them know, as well?
